'The Isle of Man – Home of Happy Holidays' - is the title of an illustrated talk by Tony Cain who will look at how tourism came about on the Island.

The IOM Victorian Society invite you to join us at our new venue, St Andrews Church on Glencrutchery Road corner, for an illustrated talk by Tony Cain entitled 'The Isle of Man – Home of Happy Holidays'. Tony will be looking at how tourism came about on the Island with new hotels, places of entertainment, railways and a lot more. The talk takes place on Friday 31st January and commences at 8pm and is preceded by the Annual General Meeting of the society at 7.30pm. Non-members most welcome. Parking on site. There is an entry charge of £2pp for non-members which includes light refreshments following what should prove to be a most interesting talk by Tony.
