Amateur interior designer to represent Island in prime time competition

Interior Design Masters with Alan Carr returns to BBC One next week

There'll be some Manx representation on television screens next week when a new series of Interior Design Masters starts on BBC One.

Hosted by Alan Carr the show sees 10 amateurs battle it out for a life-changing contract.

Competitor Roisin Quinn is from the Island but now lives in the Wirral.

She returned to the Island during the Coronavirus pandemic and, whilst staying with her parents here, took over as their interior designer and project manager as they were in the process of building their new home.

Now, she's hoping to win the top prize on the prime time show.

In the first episode the group will show off their signature style by heading to a former convent in Norfolk and turning nuns’ cells into B&B bedrooms.

Roisin told Manx Radio having cameras constantly rolling while she worked took some getting used to:

You can catch Roisin on Interior Design Masters on BBC One next Tuesday (12 March) at 8pm.
