Regular beach clean event will also take place, this weekend in Spaldrick
Local environmental group Beach Buddies is linking up with the Channel Islands for a series of special events this weekend (15-16 March).
For the first time, the Isle of Man is connecting with beach cleaning groups in Guernsey and Jersey for their annual 'Big Beach Clean'.
Beach Buddies are inviting people from all across the Island to join in at any time over the weekend on a beach of your choice.
All you have to do to get involved is go to your favourite beach, pick up some rubbish and let the charity know you've gotten involved.
They're asking that people take photographs and send them into the group via email to info@beachbuddies.org.im
The group's Sunday morning event will be held as normal - this week, at Spaldrick in Port Erin, from 10.30am.
