Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation has been named as the charity which will benefit from donations at this year's CAMRA Isle of Man Beer Festival.
Founded 20 years ago, the Foundation was set up in memory of Craig Lunt, a popular and talented footballer who tragically died due to a previously undiagnosed heart defect.
The focus of the charity is to raise funds to enable screening of young men and women in the Isle of Man between the ages of 14 - 35 in order to detect any possible heart defects which may lead to Sudden Death Syndrome.
The Isle of Man Beer Festival is being staged in the Royal Hall at the Villa Marina from 10 - 12 April.
There will be over 150 real ales, ciders, perries, fruit wines and meads on offer.
Each year since its inception, an Isle of Man group or charity has been chosen to be a beneficiary of the event.
