PSM resident also won £500 shopping voucher
A charity on the Island is hoping to 'promote intergenerational understanding' by building a play area for children that visit its elderly members.
Southlands Comfort Fund has been awarded £5,000 from The Co-op following a competition the retailer held for its members in April.
It also wants to expand its sensory garden with the cash injection.
Ten winners were chosen from across the UK with Port St Mary resident Clara Baker bagging the prize on the Island - aside from winning £5,000 for the charity of her choice, she also won £500 worth of shopping.
