Latest donations presented at Old Market Inn this week
The generosity of the Island community has again resulted in thousands being raised to help run road racing on the Billown Course.
At a presentation evening this week more than £4,000 was presented to the Southern 100 Club at the Old Market Inn in Douglas.
£3,000 of that is through donations from customers of the pub itself.
Meanwhile the remaining £1,250 has been put forward by Patricia Clague in what is her 28th year of generating money for the club.
During that time she believes she's raised in the region of £18,000 to £19,000.
She along with Old Market Inn bar manager Colin Scott agree the organisation continues to be a worthy cause to get behind:
