Island Escapes hopes £5,000 donation will help sustain Manx traditions
Donations from customers of a Manx accommodation company will be used to help Culture Vannin strengthen its grant-giving scheme.
Island Escapes has made a £5,000 donation to the organisation in a bid to celebrate and sustain Manx traditions, as well as encouraging greater corporate involvement in Manx culture.
Culture Vannin says the funding will make a huge difference as increasing demand on its budgets means it's currently only able to award support to around 40 percent of the applications it receives.
Island Escapes adds that it hopes the move will inspire other businesses to recognise the value of cultural investment.
