Island rider has left Aintree Hospital
Southern 100 rider Grant Thomson has returned to the Isle of Man following a crash at this year's event.
The Port St Mary man had been receiving treatment at Aintree Hospital after being injured on the Billown Course.
Thomson suffered broken ribs in an incident at Church Bends during the Lightweight/Sportbike qualifying session last week.
He was initially treated at Noble's Hospital before being transferred to Aintree, and a GoFundMe page set up to support his recovery has so far raised nearly £5000.
