The Glen Road development was delayed due to covid and the floods
The new skate park in Laxey is having its official opening this Saturday (9 September) in partnership with two local groups.
It's currently open for youngsters to use but Garff Commissioners is looking for suggestions on what to name it.
Commissioner Melanie Christian says ideas will be collected by Gals Skate.
She says the open day starts from 11am and there will be lessons and demonstrations available:
