Streaming giant Netflix has confirmed the highly anticipated series - starring Manx actor Joe Locke - will return to screens in October.

The ex-Ballakermeen student was picked, via an open casting call, to play Charlie Spring in the LGBTQ+ drama after going up against 10,000 other hopeful teenagers.

Teasing this season Netflix said: 'Charlie would like to tell Nick that he loves him' whilst 'Nick also has something important to say to Charlie'.

It will be a busy month for Joe Locke fans as his Marvel television project will also hit streaming in the same month.

'Agatha: Darkhold Diaries' is set for a Hop-tu-Naa release on Disney+.
