Latest cheque presented to club in Douglas this week
Customers at a pub in Douglas have reached a significant milestone in their support for one of the Isle of Man's road racing events.
This week the Southern 100 Club was presented with £2,000 from the Old Market Inn.
It brings the funds raised by the public house, over the last 20 years, to more than £25,000 (£25,100).
Club President Phil Taubman and Chairman George Peach say they continue to be overwhelmed by the generosity of the community in what's been a challenging 2023:
Wildlife park animals to get extra treats on Christmas Day
Port Erin shop's window display is the best in the British Isles
Onchan Commissioners looking for community award nominations
Local gym gives high school facilities an upgrade
Ultrasound machine for chemotherapy unit 'will make a huge difference'
