Ongky Wijana's 'Manannán mac Lir' took first place
A Manx resident has come first in a European stone carving competition.
Ongky Wijana from Peel had two days to carve a piece live in front of a crowd of people.
His submission, 'Manannán mac Lir' was awarded the first prize at the European Stone Carving Festival 2025 in Halifax.
Ongky says it was very challenging working at full speed for a total of 12 solid hours, but that it was a fun weekend.
