Despite poor weather this summer 'good progress' has been made on project
The spokesman for the team behind the restoration of Ramsey's Queen's Pier says good progress has been made this year.
That's despite the worst summer weather the ongoing project has ever encountered.
Dennis Curphey told Manx Radio the end of 2024 coincides with the team putting the finishing touches to Bay 8; early next year work will start on Bay 9 which is the first of the stabilising bays and is 20ft wider.
He says the project continues to receive great support from the Manx public who will have the chance to join in some special Christmas celebrations:
