World's largest bony fish
A sunfish has been spotted in Manx waters.
Sunfish are rare visitors here and the last sighting was in July 2021 on one of the hottest days of the year.
They have a distinctive floppy fin which flaps about at the surface, and a huge oval shaped body which looks a bit like a dinner plate on its side.
It was reported off Port Erin and West of the Sound, as seen in a video shared widely online.
