Karen Van Den Berg says she was shocked when Rhiannon reached out
A Peel resident is overwhelmed after a six-year-old girl reunited her with her engagement ring.
In June 2022, Karen Van Den Berg took to social media for help after realising she'd lost her precious ring somewhere between Noble's Hospital and Crosby Co-op.

After weeks of searching, she finally gave up until last night (14 April)
Karen received a surprising message from Rhiannon Cottier, whose daughter found the ring outside the same Coop.

"I didn't even see her pick it up. It was just one of those moments. I was getting the baby in the car, and she turned to me and said mummy, what's this. And I just thought it was something covered in mud and I just put it in my pocket as I do with everything she hands me." - Rhiannon

Karen has extended her thanks to Rhiannon and Hallie for reuniting her with her ring.
