Motiv8 and police link 'burgeoning'
Alcohol linked reoffending is cut by almost 100% after referral to a charity, police have claimed.
Central Alcohol Unit leader Sergeant Wendy Barker believes the force's collaboration with Island group Motiv8 has been a successful one.
It was established in 2002 to minimise the negative effects of alcohol on communities, as well as to offer education on use of the substance, and enforce licensing legislation.
