Ramsey commissioners warning over foliage
Ramsey commissioners say your unkempt bush could mean a £1,000 fine – and you’ll be charged if its workmen have to trim it for you.
The local authority says it’s created a policy about problems caused by overhanging hedges, trees and shrubs.
It’s now published a new leaflet on its website telling the public to make sure foliage doesn’t overgrow onto public highways.
You can download the leaflet, which contains information and advice, from ramsey.gov.im,
The commissioners say you can also report problem bushes on its website or by emailing enquiries@rtc.gov.im.
