60-year-old James Redmond gets second AstraZeneca dose
The man who today (25 Jun) received the 100,000th jab delivered on Island says he can't wait to be reunited with his son in the UK
60-year-old James Redmond, who works for Manx Gas, got his second dose of AstraZeneca at the Chester Street hub this morning:
The milestone jab in the government's vaccine roll out was administered by paramedic Peter Smith.
He's worked at the Chester Street hub since it opened in January and says it will be able to cope with increased demand once the airport site has closed:
