Jack O'Grady uses 3D printer to help community
A 12-year-old boy has been using his 3D printer to help protect Island residents during the pandemic.
Jack O'Grady has been creating clips which can make masks more comfortable to wear and fit better on children.
He found the design for the clips on a free share site and initially adapted it to fit his younger brothers' masks.
But after a positive response to a Facebook post his mum Vicky made, he's now on a mission to create 100 more clips to deliver to staff at Nobles Hospital this weekend:
Meanwhile, 3D print artists Aaron and Roxy from "Hector & Spuds" have been making nose clips for those who struggle wearing masks with glasses and are asking for donations to Housing Matters Isle of Man, a charity they say is very close to their hearts.
