Target hit for just 55.9% of breast cancer patients last year
People waiting for cancer treatment should be seen within 14 days of being referred to ensure the best outcome.
That's from the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group.
Figures published this week show just 55.9% of breast cancer patients receive an appointment within two weeks of a referral.
It's the lowest percentage among the nine types of cancer treated on Island, over the last year, despite breast cancer having the highest number of patients.
