Juvenile remanded following death of 14-year-old Christopher McBurnie
A 14-year-old has appeared in court again charged with murder following a serious incident in Ramsey last week.
The juvenile, who can't be named for legal reasons, made his second appearance at Douglas Courthouse via live video link this morning.
He's accused of murdering 14-year-old Christopher McBurnie last Thursday, who the prosecution says died as a result of a fatal stab wound to the chest.
The prosecution asked for committal proceedings to take place in six weeks; magistrates agreed, setting a committal date of 16 July.
The case was adjourned for four weeks, with the boy remanded until his next appearance on 2 July.
