Infrastructure minister says it's not something anyone wanted
Public sector rents on the Isle of Man are set to rise by five per cent, with effect from 1 April 2023.
The figure was decided by the Department of Infrastructure following consultation with the Island’s 15 local housing authorities.
Infrastructure Minister Chris Thomas says it's not something anyone wanted to do, but rising costs elsewhere have necessitated the increase:
