£14,000 worth of heroin found
An 18-year-old man from St Helens is due in court today, charged with supplying £14,000-worth of heroin.
Police say he was arrested on Monday on suspicion of possession of the drug with intent to supply and shoplifting.
He was taken to Noble's hospital, as he was suspected to have the drugs hidden internally.
He has subsequently been charged with two theft offences and possession with intent to supply, along with the other charge.
