Six years of work on Colby resident's former vehicle
An old painter and decorator’s van – with a rich Manx history - has gone on display at Jurby Transport Museum.
The 1950 Fordson F83W was owned by former Colby resident Donald Collister and has been brought back to life as part of his legacy.
Mr Collister left his entire £1 million estate to Manx National Heritage following his death in 2007.
Andy Faragher, who is from the museum, applied for funding to restore the vehicle and, after six years of work, it’s now on show at the museum:
