DEFA says spot is currently difficult to access
The environment department hopes to build a car park at a plantation in the centre of the Island.
There is currently no dedicated place to park at the Sartfell Plantation and surrounding areas.
The Brandywell Central Hills Car Park would have a capacity of 20 spaces if plans are approved.
The department says it's a popular site with walkers, cyclists, fell runners and paragliders - but is currently difficult to access.
