Figures released after FOI request
More than 20,000 parking tickets have been issued on the Isle of Man since 2018.
Data released as part of a Freedom of Information request shows 4,769 of those were either deemed void or cancelled after issue.
The most fixed penalty notices were issued in 2018-2019 with 7,767 - this fell to 5,766 in 2020-2021.
In the last year parking in a place reserved for another class of vehicle caught 433 people out.
