Man claims he was 'bullied into storing drug'
A man who claimed he was storing £20,000 of drugs for someone else has been remanded in custody.
Twenty-year-old Vincent Sims of Tynwald Terrace in Douglas admitted possessing heroin, cannabis bush and resin with intent to supply them.
This week, High Bailiff Jayne Hughes heard police had raided his flat on 1 December, where they found 67 grammes of heroin with 22 per cent purity.
Police also found cannabis resin labelled “American Gangster” and significant quantities of cannabis bush in a kitchen cupboard.
Sims told police he was a victim as although some of the cannabis was his, he'd been bullied into storing the heroin.
He wouldn't, however, name the man he was keeping it for.
Mrs Hughes remanded him in custody before he’s sentenced at the Court of General Gaol Delivery on 4 March.
