Delay announced by chief minister
The local authority elections which were due to take place next month, have been postponed.
The delay was announced by Chief Minister Howard Quayle today (16 March), as he outlined the Isle of Man government's emergency response to the threat of the global coronavirus pandemic.
The postponement includes the Douglas South by-election.
Both contests are delayed 'until further notice'.
