Show to celebrate its 107th year
This year's Southern Agricultural Show has been given the green light.
The President and Committee of the Southern District Agricultural Society have confirmed the show will take place on Saturday, 31 July and Sunday, 1 August at Great Meadow in Castletown.
The show is due to be open both days from 10am to 6pm.
However, due to the pandemic, the society will not be inviting UK judges this year.
Instead local experts are being asked to use their knowledge to judge all sections from livestock and horses through to farm and garden produce.
Local businesses and mobile caterers are being invited to submit applications and can contact the secretary for more information and application forms. All 2019 exhibitors will be contacted and invited to attend.
You can find more information on this year's Show on the Southern Agricultural Facebook page, or website.
You can also contact secretary, Mrs Sarah Comish on 494497, or via email: sdas@manx.net.
