Race Director thinks there's several ways event brings community together
Nearly 1,300 people are expected to take on the 2025 Parish Walk which gets underway on Island this morning (21 June).
The mass-participation occasion sees people take on all or part of a grueling 85-mile course around the Isle of Man.
Parish Walk Race Director Ray Cox says entries are slightly up on twelve months ago.
He thinks there are several reasons why this occasion tends to bring the Manx community together:
The walk gets underway on the NSC athletics track at 8am.
Those looking to complete the entire course must do so within 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the Under-21 races will finish in Peel.
