Ronaldsway Met Office has produced its annual report for the season
It's been the warmest and sunniest Spring on record, according to forecasters at Ronaldsway Met Office.
The mean temperature taken between March and May was 13.7 degrees, which is two degrees above the 30-year average and the warmest on record.
According to the Spring Report, it was also very nearly the driest on record until the last week of May, when there was a change in the weather to more unsettled conditions.
The Island recorded the highest temperature of the season on 12 May of 23.2 degrees, which also equates to the fourth highest May temperature on record.
Total rainfall amounted to 77.5mm, which is less than half the long-term average.
March, in particular, was very dry with only 13mm collected, making it the second driest March.
The Island experienced 708.1 hours of sunshine, making it the sunniest Spring on record; even exceeding the 'Covid' Spring, which previously held the top spot.
