Police appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage
Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision in the west of the Island which resulted in the death of a 21-year-old local man.
Officers were called to the scene near QEII High School on Douglas Road in Peel shortly after 4pm yesterday.
It was later confirmed the incident had resulted in one fatality, while two arrests have been made in relation to the collision.
The Isle of Man Constabulary's investigation into the matter is ongoing, and the public are being urged not to speculate.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen what happened, have footage of the collision or any other information is urged to contact officers on 631212.
The road was closed for several hours, but has now reopened.
