The Island put its best foot forward yesterday (Mon) and claimed back the world record for the biggest 3 legged race.
Whilst the record still has to be officially verified by Guinness World Records, 650 pairs took part in yesterday's event on Douglas beach, somewhat lower than the 1000 target but almost 100 more than the previous record of 551.
Organisers are thanking all those who helped bring the record back to the Island, including the helpers, committee, marshals and spectators who cheered the teams on their way.
