Crews from Rushen and Castletown called out on Thursday
The blaze, close to a property in Colby, was caused by a stray ember from a garden brazier shortly before 4:30pm.
Officers say they were able to quickly contain and extinguish the fire.
They've issued a reminder for anyone lighting fires to keep them away from structures, fences and hedges, and to have a bucket of water or hosepipe nearby.
We're also advised not to leave a fire unattended and to never start one during windy conditions.
