26-year-old spotted taking Class B drug on night out
A Douglas man has been fined £400 after being caught snorting Ketamine off his hand.
Dieter Paul Johnson, of Berry Woods Grove, was spotted by police taking the Class B substance on 3 June.
Officers seized 0.3 grams from the 26-year-old, in Villiers Lane in Douglas, after initially suspecting it was cocaine.
Johnson admitted possessing the drug during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse.
His advocate told the court: "This was a foolish decision on a rare night out."
Magistrates also ordered Johnson to pay £125 in prosecution costs telling him: “I’m sure you know it was an illegal drug.”
