Fifty-one babies were born at Noble’s Hospital in July – the highest number of births in the last three months.

Statistics from the Jane Crookall Maternity Unit show 26 boys and 25 girls were delivered.

Seven of the births were pre-term and 36 were spontaneous; the lightest baby weighed in at 1.6 kilograms with the heaviest at 4.5 kilograms.
