Police appealing for witnesses to come forward
Police have confirmed a 59-year-old man has died following a road traffic collision on the Ballamodha Straight.
James Errol Tahsin was transferred to a UK hospital following the two-vehicle incident on Wednesday morning (20 November) but died as a result of sustaining fatal injuries.
A passenger in the second vehicle was also injured and received treatment on Island.
Officers are supporting Mr Tahsin's family and are asking the public not to speculate as to the circumstances of the collision and respect the privacy of those involved.
Meanwhile, police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area of the Ballamodha Straight on Wednesday morning between 7:30am and 7:50am.

The Isle of Man Constabulary says the driver and passenger of the second vehicle are fully cooperating with police.
