Ashford: 'Well-run transparent election is clear priority’
Almost £600,000 will be spent running this year’s General Election on the Isle of Man.
The Cabinet Office had its revenue bid approved as part of the 2026 Budget.
The election – which will see 24 people elevated to the House of Keys to serve as MHKs – will take place on 24 September.
Minister David Ashford said delivering a ‘well-run transparent election’ is a ‘clear priority’ of his department:

'Essential' that school staff recognise the signs of an allergic reaction
'High' risk of wildfires over the next week
'Come From Away' to continue after cast member injured during rehearsal
'Parks in worse state then when I started' says Peel commissioner
