Salvation Army highlights impact of financial stress
The Salvation Army's Debt Advice Co-ordinator for the Isle of Man says 70 percent of the people that seek financial help suffer with a form of mental ill health.
That figure is much higher than its calculation for the UK, which stand at 50 percent.
Debbie White told Manx Radio as Mental Health Awareness Week comes to a close this Sunday, it's important to recognise the impact financial stress can have.
She added there's never a debt problem that's not going to get fixed:
Isle of Man inflation eases slightly to 2.8% in October
Progress on autism strategy welcomed
Paper car tax discs cost DOI £7,500 each month
Just over half the vehicles examined were defective
