Manx.net to be taken over by Atmail
Thirty thousand Manx Telecom customers are soon to be affected by a change to their online mail.
The company is investing £800,000 in a brand new email platform with service provider Atmail, which will replace Manx.net.
The change will reportedly provide customers with a range of new features, including: increased storage and mail size, live updating and email synchronisation and the ability to manage contacts and calanders across all devices.
In a statement, Manx Telecom says 'Atmail delivers the best possible solution for our vitally important manx.net platform and will continue to provide two tiers of service for all customers, including a free charge option.'
Manx Telecom says there's no need for manx.net users to take any action, as mailboxes will be changed automatically, however, customers will see a change in the layout and login appearance.
