Not as sunny, but much foggier – that’s the verdict of the Met Office on August.
Meteorologists at Ronaldsway say the month was slightly drier than usual, and not quite as sunny.
But there were twice as many foggy days and this July and August were the foggiest ever recorded, logging a total of 15 days.
It's August 25 that’s sparked the interest of the forecasters, reaching a high of 21 celcius and a low of just 10 - making it both the hottest and coolest day of the month!
