Isla Gale's parents 'so proud'
A Manx teenager says she's more determined than ever to be the Island's first female skipper after winning 'Trainee Fisherman of the Year' at the Fishing News Awards.
Isla Gale, who started her fishing journey with her father at the age of 12, was nominated among five others in her category.
The 17-year-old told Manx Radio she hoped her award inspires other women to join the fishing industry:
