House discusses safe access zones for women
The Abort 67 protests were "un-isle of Man".
That's the belief of East Douglas MHK Chris Robertshaw.
He was speaking in the adjourned Abortion Reform Bill debate this morning, where the House, sitting as a committee, was discussing safe access zones for women to access services without harassment from protesters.
Mr Robertshaw said wasn't sure if an amendment proposed could be perceived as a significant departure from the Bill - and believed the protests were what he called "a moment in time".
"We think it's inhumane the way he was treated."
