Douglas meeting aims to change law
A public meeting in Douglas tonight will discuss why women who want an abortion are significantly worse off than their UK counterparts.
The Campaign for Abortion Law Modernisation will hold its gathering from 7.30pm at the Manx Legion on Market Hill in Douglas.
It’s the second time the group has met as it considers ways of lobbying would-be MHKs before the general election later this year.
Suzy Holland explains why Manx law is lagging behind:

Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
Fundraiser to keep St John Ambulance emergency fleet on the road
Ayre and Michael MHKs request meeting with commissioners over rates
Data breach impact rises sharply as cyber incidents affect thousands on Isle of Man
