Figures show 88 abortions last year
A public gathering is taking place this morning in opposition to reforming the Island's abortion laws.
It follows the release of figures showing 88 Manx women travelled to England for a termination last year.
Today's 'outreach' session is taking place on Regent Street, Douglas between 9am and noon.
It's been organised by a number of local churches and Christian groups.
Sue Richardson from the Peel Baptist Church says the message is clear - but it's not just for religious people:
