IOM Medical Society President will speak at the event
A public meeting later this month will tackle a subject which is rarely aired in the Isle of Man - abortion.
Organised by Isle of Man Freethinkers and the Positive Action Group, it will be addressed by Mara Clark, who is director of the Abortion Support Network.
It's a UK charity which provides confidential, practical, non-judgemental advice to anyone affected by the issue.
Also present will be Chair of the GP Sub-Committee of the Isle of Man Medical Association Dr Alex Allinson, who will explain the current medical position on abortion here.
The meeting, at 7.30pm on Monday, March 21, will take place at the Manx Legion Club on Market Hill in Douglas.
It's free and open to all.
