Victim Support 'exceptionally busy'
January has been an 'exceptionally' busy month for a charity that help victims of abuse on the Isle of Man.
The chief executive officer from Victim Support Isle of Man says 45 referrals were made for assistance.
Lorna Trevethan's urging other sufferers to seek help and not suffer in silence.
Early in January the charity voiced concern about the increase in numbers it was seeing.
She told Manx Radio the figure is 'staggering':
