MHK wants update following publication of Laxey report
An update on the introduction of flood reinsurance for Manx residents is being sought at this month's sitting of Tynwald.
Earlier this year, it was confirmed talks between the Isle of Man Government and the UK's Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs were underway to see if the scheme could be extended to the Island.
Garff MHK Daphne Caine is asking a series of questions at the June sitting following the publication of the report into last October's flooding in Laxey.
She says access to affordable flood insurance for those in high risk areas is essential:
