Access to NHS COVID Pass 'in the next fortnight'

Digital and paper copies 'internationally recognised'

People on the Isle of Man will soon have access to the NHS Covid Pass, government says.

The internationally-recognised documents will allow people to prove their vaccination status if travelling off-Island.

The Department of Health and Social Care says digital and paper copies will be available 'in the next fortnight'.

Once live, residents will have access to the NHS COVID Pass website and once logged in will be able to view and download a specific digital UK NHS COVID Pass, or print it as a PDF document.

The digital COVID Pass provides a QR code which is internationally recognised as proof of vaccination status.

This is based on information shared by Manx Care with the UK NHS, unless the person has requested otherwise - as opting-out is an option.

For the digital version you'll need a valid mobile number and email account, whilst for a paper copy you'll need to contact the UK NHS customer contact centre.

An Isle of Man Freephone number is set to be announced before the service goes live.

Government urges those wishing to use the NHS Covid Pass to log in/ register at least two weeks before travel.
