Issue to be raised in Tynwald
Students are being denied access to essential university services due to a delay in funding being approved.
Dr Michelle Haywood MHK, will take the matter to Education, Sport and Culture Minister Julie Edge, at Tynwald on Tuesday.
The Member for Rushen, says students are going off to university without knowing the status of their maintenance grant applications or knowing what they are entitled to.
The MHK will ask Edge what's going to be done to speed up grant assessments, and what changes students and their families can expect, in time for the start of next academic year.
